Who Are You If You Become Someone Who Is Committed?

  • NOTE: This website is a Bubble in the Bubble Map of the free-to-play, massively-multiplayer, online-and-offline, thoughtware-upgrade, matrix-building, personal-transformation, adventure-game called StartOver.xyz. It is a doorway to experiments that upgrade your thoughtware so you can relocate your point of origin and create more possibility. Your knowledge is what you think about. Your thoughtware is what you use to think with. When you change your thoughtware, you go through a liquid state as your mind reorganizes itself. Liquid states can bring up transformational feelings and emotions. By upgrading your thoughtware you build matrix to hold more consciousness and leave behind a low drama life of reactivity. No one can upgrade your thoughtware for you. More interestingly, no one can stop you from upgrading your thoughtware. Our theory is that when we collectively build 1,000,000 new Matrix Points we will change the morphogenetic field of the human race for the better. Please choose responsibly to read this website. Reading this whole website is worth 1 Matrix Point. Doing any of the experiments earns you additional Matrix Points. • Commitment

    Commitment

Commitment is a force of Nature.

Commitment is a Bright Principle. It is a facet of Responsibility and Archetypal Love.

Who Are You When You Commit?

Committing changes the shape of your Being, so that what you have truly committed to happens because you have become the person who has committed for it to happen.

The impossibilities that your Box and Gremlin would come up with vanish under the weight of the force of your Commitment.

    Commitment has no back doors.

    Committing To Someone Else's Commitment

Committing to someone else's commitment is an Archetypal Offer for Intimacy.

Committing to someone else's commitment is not rescuing. It is not doing it for them. Doing it from them is Low Drama. You say: "you cannot do it, therefore I will do it for you". You put them in a victim position and you in the rescuer position. It is not even finding solution for them that they did not ask for (or even if they ask for them).

Committing to someone else's commitment is removing your own personal resistance (aka unconscious Fear) to the success of other people's wild ideas, projects, dreams, or visions, especially those that freak your own Box out.

Do you have the experience that your environment is fighting you? That you have to fight against immense pressure to create what you matters to you? Wanna what this is? It is people's resistance to your own commitment. What you are wanting to create freaks them out. The only way they have learn to deal with their Fear is to 'kill' the thing that makes them afraid. How do they do that? They put full breaks on to your ideas, project and dreams.

Guess who else does that with other people's wildness? Yes... you! Unconsciously. You have been resisting committing to your partner's commitment, to your children's commitment, to your Teams' commitment, ... My guess is that you have been resisting other people's commitment for so long and so forcefully that you do not even know what the people you love are truly committed to.

Warning! Committing to someone else's commitment is not about committing to other people's Gremlin or Box commitments. This is not committing to their Box wishes for comfort or survival, not committing to their Gremlin's wished for feeding frenzy. This is about committing to someone else's true commitment, the commitment of their Being, their Bright Principles, their Archetypal Lineage or their Quest.

Committing to someone else's Commitment is also not about diverting your Time, Attention, Love to someone else's Quest. Committing to someone else's Commitment includes the success of other people's Commitment in your Commitment, their Quests into your Quest.

    There is no method.

    Just Like That

Facebook post from Greta Thunberg on 22 April 2022.

"School strike week 192. This is not a “happy earth day”. It never has been. #EarthDay has turned into an opportunity for people in power to post their “love” for the planet, while at the same time destroying it at maximum speed. #PeopleNotProfit #FridaysForFuture #ClimateStrike"

    192 weeks.
    This is Commitment.
Commitment is not self-manipulation into doing what you already want to do. Commitment is not an external pressure mechanism.
Commitment is shifting the shape of your Being so that what you commit to creating, is created. No matter what.
The question: "should I go strike today?" does not even appear for Greta.
The considerations of cold, hunger, usefullness, uselessness, emotional reactivity, what other people think or want become so irrelevant they fade into the background of the ecstasy of Commitment.
Commitment cannot be willed into existence.
Commitment is the result of a sincere outrage (Conscious Anger) at how things are and a true longing for something completely different from this to exist.
    192 weeks.
    Just like that.

    Streaks

    by Seth Godin

Today’s the 11th year in a row of daily posts on this blog. Nearly 5,000,000 words since my first post twenty years ago, and I haven’t missed a day (given some time-zone wiggle room) since 2008.

    Streaks are their own reward.

Streaks create internal pressure that keeps streaks going.

Streaks require commitment at first, but then the commitment turns into a practice, and the practice into a habit.

Habits are much easier to maintain than commitments.

I’m pretty sure that the blog would still have an impact if I missed a day here or there, but once a commitment is made to a streak, the question shifts from, “should I blog tomorrow,” to, “what will tomorrow’s blog say?

And once you’ve made that shift, it’s 100x easier to find the voice that you’re looking for.

I didn’t set out to have this particular streak (I don’t remember the day the blog went from ‘most days’ to ‘every day’) but I’m glad to have gone on this journey.

Thanks for being part of it.

Become visible because as invisible you can’t commit.

FIND OUT WHAT YOU DO TO BE VISIBLE

    COMMITMT.01

Being committed means being visible. When you choose to be invisible, you also choose not to be committed.
Start this experiment and become invisible.
To become invisible, you must avoid everything that makes you visible.
To find out what you do to be visible, do the following.
Ask 10 people: "Please give me clues about what I do to be visible."
    Write down the clues.
If you asked 10 people, you probably got some multiple clues.
Write the three clues that were mentioned most often one below the other in your Beep! Book.
Then begin the next steps to invisibility.
    Day 1 - 3:
Avoid the most frequently mentioned item for the first three days.
    Day 4 - 6:
Avoid the two most frequently mentioned items on those three days.
    Day 5 - 7:
Avoid the three most frequently mentioned items on those three days.
Notice how your level of invisibility increases and you are seen less and less.

FIND OUT WHAT YOU DO TO BE INVISIBLE

    COMMITMT.02

Being committed means being visible. When you choose to be invisible, you also choose not to be committed.
Go further with this experiment and become visible.
To become visible, you must avoid everything that makes you invisible.
To find out what you do to be invisible, do the following.
Ask 10 people: "Please give me clues about what I do to be invisible."

COLLECT WAYS WHAT YOU CAN DO TO BECOME VISIBLE, BECAUSE AS INVISIBLE YOU CAN'T COMMIT

    COMMITMT.03

One of the tricks to be invisible, I know and I'll tell you now.
The trick is to enter a space with a loud bang, stir up a lot of dust, attract everyone's attention, reap dislike, incomprehension or admiration and THEN secretly and quietly disappear into the dark corner of the space, close to the exit door and stay there until the end.

No one will approach you anymore, because you have already received and taken so much attention.
The others are now more in focus and usually no one wants anything from you.

If this strategy to be invisible is your strategy, please do the following experiment:
In online calls, speak every 10 minutes. Share what is alive in you right now, ask a question, make an offer, give feedback. If you can't think of anything, start a sentence with the words, "I feel joy / sadness / fear / anger because..."
In a ninety minute call, that's at least 8 ways to be visible.
The experiment ends when you have done it at at least 5 meetings of at least 5 people.

REALITY-CHECK AS A WAY TO CHECK HOW VISIBLE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW

    COMMITMT.04

It could be that your own perception of your visibility in the space doesn't match how others perceive you.
In your next 10 calls or meetings with people, do the following reality-check at least once:
"On a scale of 1 - 10, I perceive myself in terms of my visibility in the space at X right now. Please give me feedback on my perception."
Write the results (how you perceived yourself compared to others) in your Beep! Book.

THE JOB GAIA HAS IN MIND FOR YOU MAY BE SOMETHING YOU HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE / PART 1

    COMMITMT.05

With this experiment, direct your attention and introspection to the things you do.
Every evening, write 50 things in your Beep! Book that you did today.

One below the other in a list, you can use bullet points, the point is not to describe things.
When you have written down 50 things, go through your list again and after each item make the letter N = NEW or the letter O = OLD.
OLD denotes things you've done before or things you do regularly.

NEW denotes things you did for the first time today.

THE JOB GAIA HAS IN MIND FOR YOU MAY BE SOMETHING YOU HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE / PART 2

    COMMITMT.06

This part of the experiment lasts 10 days.

Continue writing your list as you did in part 1 of this experiment. Every night 50 things.
Every day for those 10 days, 3 things must appear on your list that you have never done before because you just did them today for the first time.
Don't put the focus on the action being new. The action is secondary.

What's new is the choice you made.

This Experiment is worth 1 Matrix Point.

EMOTIONAL FEAR MAKES YOU LOOK FOR HIDING PLACES AGAIN AND AGAIN. LET YOUR FEAR SPEAK.

    COMMITMT.07

Your fear probably has good reasons and evidence why it is appropriate and necessary to keep going back to the old hiding places.

Until you look at and hear those reasons and evidence, you can't choose not to hide.
Wear your Beep! Book with you day and night for a whole week and write in it as soon as fear appears.
Write down every situation, no matter how small, in which you feel fear.
Also write down how long the anxiety lasts. A few minutes, an hour, for days?
If the fear is there for more than 3 minutes, it is an emotional fear and an invitation for an Emotional Healing Process.
    Engage in these.

WITHOUT VISIBILITY, VULNERABILITY AND CLOSENESS THERE IS NO COMMITMENT

    COMMITMT.08

When you decide to stop trying to look good, you show yourself vulnerable.

Your being can become visible and someone may want to connect with that part of you. Without visibility, vulnerability and closeness, there is no commitment.
Call 10 people and ask them the question:
"Please give me clues on how I try to look good around others / around you (in calls)."
Write the clues in your Beep! Book.
What do you feel when you hear the clues?
You may notice how amazingly much people notice about you and how much is actually visible and noticeable.
In the next step you can experiment with letting these things go. Don't do them.
Variation: Ask someone to give you a BEEP every time he notices one of the behaviors in you.
Say to him: "Please give me a BEEP on the next 10 occasions (or in the next 10 calls) in which we meet, when you notice that I am trying to look good.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO COMMIT BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT COMMITMENT IS, COMMIT TO COMMITTING.

    COMMITMT.09

Babies learn to use their hand by throwing an object on the floor over and over again. With each throw, they experiment with a small variation. The annoyed mother who keeps picking up the object may not see this.

At that moment, millions of new connections are formed in the brilliant baby brain. Babies are learning monsters.
If you don't know what commitment looks like on the new map, go ahead with not knowing.
Go ahead and talk about committing to committing. Become a commitment researcher.
Do something that you think has something to do with commitment and pay attention to what you create in the space.
When you become visible, vulnerable, when closeness is created, maybe something is working.
Committing to commitment is different than trying to do it.
The difference for me is that if I had tried to build a sword, I wouldn't have ended up building a sword, because it's impossible for a 54-year-old nurse from Germany to build a sword.
I had committed to building a sword and that commitment resulted in the sword being in that plum wood plank before I worked it out.

The sword was created by my commitment. I just had to get it out of the wood. Really!

    COMMIT TO SOMEONE ELSE'S COMMITMENT

    COMMITMT.11

    This means developing Possibility Listening.

Listen for what your partner is committed to and then commit to that. Most of us do not really know what our partner, our children, or our boss are committed to. It may be to finish knitting a sweater by Christmas, or to do 500 pushups, or to open a successful restaurant, or to spend some weekend hours totally relaxing.

We all have both conscious and unconscious commitments. Many of the unconscious commitments that we are most fiercely committed to fulfilling are irresponsible.

This experiment is not like Bonnie’s commitment to Clyde’s irresponsible habit of bank robbing. This experiment is about listening for and committing to your partner’s responsible commitments.
